The Hondo Golf Course offers a fun and family-oriented environment. The golf course remains as one of the City’s valuable forms of entertainment, hosting numerous golf and washer pitching tournaments, providing the best golfing experience for everyone.
There are numerous tournaments throughout the summer including the weekly Wednesday Scramble, the Hondo-D’Hanis Rotary Club tournament, the Lions Club tournament, the Knights of Columbus tournament, and the Scott Muennink Memorial Throwdown. Some are traditional and some are a little on the wild side including toilets, frisbees, slingshots, and live music.
